Lampix Announces a Leading Premium Automotive Company Has Become a Customer

Lampix is now announcing it has signed BMW of North America as a customer. Lampix is on a mission to have the Lampix device in every room, factory and office. Lampix already counts among its customers Bloomberg, PwC and other similar companies.

BMW and Lampix will evaluate the use of the Lampix device for the office for collaboration and increased work efficiency.

As soon as I could afford it, I drove BMWs and I have immense respect for the company that can make such cars. I am very proud that Lampix is working with BMW and we look forward to a long collaboration. Working with BMW will provide invaluable experience to our company.

Lampix CEO, George Popescu remarked, “As soon as I could afford it, I drove BMWs and I have immense respect for the company that can make such cars. I am very proud that Lampix is working with BMW and we look forward to a long collaboration. Working with BMW will provide invaluable experience to our company.”

Lampix is a platform for augmented reality and machine learning devices.

Lampix raised $14.2 million on Aug. 19, 2017, through an initial crypto token launch also known as ICO (Initial Coin Offering).

Lampix device

Lampix transforms any flat surface into a smart surface using machine learning and computer vision. Since starting Lampix in 2015, the company acquired paying clients like Bloomberg, PwC, large retail chains, and has a pipeline of approximately 200 notable companies inquiring about Lampix. Lampix was among the 2 percent of companies who were accepted at the Highway 1 accelerator in San Francisco in fall 2016. Lampix also won in March 2017 the best Augmented Reality and Virtual Reality company at SXSW festival, the largest festival of its kind in the world. To enable Lampix to reach its full potential, we need to build a billion-picture-and-description database.

PIX cryptocurrency

Lampix is building the first blockchain-based 'image mining' network for augmented reality or any other computer vision systems - a decentralized database. The company is creating a new blockchain that will hold {image, description} datasets of real-world objects. This data is a vital prerequisite for augmenting reality systems ranging from smartphones, wearable glasses, or their own Lampix product. We will use PIX tokens to grow the data ecosystem through purchases and payments.
